The god sports (Football/Soccer)

 Football or soccer is a game of two half with each half lasting 45 minutes, it is a sport which involves two teams each comprised of eleven players. AS THE ASSAULT OF THE TOURNAMENT In a performing game the objective is to get a goal and this is done through kicking the ball at the opponent’s end of the field. Players utilize their feet to kick or make passes to teammate or opponents apply force on the ball through any body part apart from hands or arm except for the goalkeeper who are allowed to hold the ball with their hand within the penalty area.

Football games are usually conducted on rectangular fields having natural or artificial turf; however, there are varieties in the field such as indoor football games conducted on relatively small field. A match is a competition that is played in two equal halves, where each half has a duration of forty-five minutes including the time allowed for a break /half time. In some cases, if the score is stalemated and there is no clear winner at the end of the regulation time then extra time and shootout can be used to solve the issue.

Football can be traced back as far as centuries and early civilizations, differing forms of football have existed in other civilizations worldwide. Football as we are familiar with today originated from England and the development of modern football rules began in the 19th century with the introduction of standardized rules in 1863 by the Football Association.

This athletic activity has gradually developed a colossal market with football leagues and competitions organized across various continents worth several billion dollars. The sport has millions of fans that throng arenas to watch the matches or tuning in to TV and other digital platforms.

Among the famous club tournaments are the Champions League in Europe, Copa Libertadores in South American countries, and the Asian Champions League. Also, continental competitions such as FIFA World Cup which feature the best national teams, UEFA European Championship, Copa America as well as AFCON that feature representative teams from different countries.
